Tulum/Xel-Ha Ancient Cities
This is a combination of the Mayan history at Tulum, the only archeological zone in the area overlooking the ocean and it’s believed to have been the largest port for the Mayans. And Xel-ha, a natural aquarium which is ideal for snorkeling. You can visit the castle & the temple of the masks of the god Chaac. Chichen-Itza

"El Castillo" pyramid has 91 steps x 4 sides and the one on top for a total of 365. Visit the "ball court" for the game where the winners only had a one game winning streak, as they where then beheaded. The first known calendar, more accurate than the one we use today was, you guessed it, made by the Mayans.
